DEHNsense EFD

The electric field detector (EFD) warns of the danger of electric current by detecting critical electrical voltage and alerting the user in good time before entering the danger zone. It serves as an additional measure to the 5 safety rules and significantly increases safety when working on electrical systems.
  • Always at the right installation. If the technician accidentally approaches the wrong live switchgear cell or overhead contact line, a clear alarm is given.
  • Optimum response value. The response sensitivity of the EFD can be adapted to the specific installation in order to avoid false alarms.
  • Triple alarm. Visual, acoustic and haptic warnings prevent penetration of the danger zone.
  • Smart work. The EFD can connect to the DEHNwork app, display device information and make application-specific settings on the device.
  • Easy documentation. All important events of the work order are logged in the DEHNwork app.

DEHNsense EFD works with an app link. So that data can be conveniently set or displayed in advance via smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android). In addition, installation profiles can be activated, newly created, or adapted to the real installation conditions via the app.

One of a kind.
Using the DEHNwork app, you can read in a QR code generated for a specific system and transfer the individual response value to the EFD without contact.
