The challenge

Conversion from a conventional car garage to a modern EV workshop that meets all current requirements.
Handling high-voltage batteries and the components of electric motors requires a rethink.

The new world of work is also transforming everyday working life in the workshop.

Firstly, the employees had to be trained and they needed special clothing and equipment to protect them in the event of an arc fault. Tools must be suitable for live working, and test devices are also required for measuring DC and AC voltage, for resistance and continuity testing, for diode tests and for contactless voltage testing.

The solution

All from a single source The Fischer dealership found the perfect solution in the DEHN product range.

The employees were given their personal protective equipment for working safely on electric vehicles. All the prescribed rescue equipment, voltage detectors and insulating mats are now available and in use in the workshop.

This means that everyone at Fischer Automobile feels safe, well equipped and fit for the future.
